Since 1993, I have been teaching private lessons to low brass students ranging from grade 5 through college. Students under my director have been successful in District, All-Region, All-Area, All-State and Texas UIL competitions. I Started with music 17 years now . I began age 10 with cello. 2 years later started the guitar. Picked up along the way electric bass, upright bass, ukulele , mandolin , banjo, basic piano and learning accordion. All middle and high school was in the orchestra. Graduated 2009, then attended Lone-star for 2 years taking music classes. I was in a band for about 3 years. We did some events, but then I decide to leave. I always tell my student " we can't be on the same scale of play in terms of skills" therefore I use easy and fun approaches in teaching which makes it much interesting and anticipating of what comes next. groove in druming is an essential tool in music.
