I have been a national competition finalist two times and have been recognized many times for my performances and hard work at FSU. I served as the clarinet section leader and then woodwind captain in my high school marching band, where I was responsible for conducting rehearsals and sectionals as well as teaching music to other woodwind students in grades 9-12.
