I am a composer and performer rooted in Elkridge, Maryland. I write music in many genres and styles for a variety of performers and different ensembles, typically specializing in repertoire for small chamber ensembles. I am as comfortable conceiving of works for two clarinets as I am crafting a piece out of cat meows and synthesized bird sounds. I have been teaching since then to students from 3-year-old beginners to 75-year-old retirees. I founded my home studio, Joyful Keys Studio, in Gaithersburg, 13 years ago, and have been teaching consistently and passionately.
