I have a lifelong passion for music, with my passion being in drumming and percussion but having a great deal of experience in trombone and a strong knowledge of guitar as well.  I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2008 with Honors in Music.  I have just recently traveled to Ghana for a 10-month trip to study traditional drumming, Afrobeat drum set style, and more. In addition, I have taught my closest friends in piano and organ. While I was the staff accompanist at a high school, I taught the treble choir and gave piano and voice lessons during off-periods. I have sung with the Houston Symphony Chorus, Dallas Symphony Chorus, Mesquite Community Chorus, ASU Graduate and Doctoral chorales, and many worship teams, I have been in many musicals and was the lead in "Pirates of Penzance" and "The Consul". After that I received a bachelors degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas and then a masters degree in trumpet performance from the University of Texas at Arlington.
