Every student starts or resumes classes at different levels. My job is to recognize that level and proceed accordingly. I like my students to be able to learn and progress at the rate they can or want to. Letting students let you know what they want to learn and at what pace, helps the student as well as the teacher in that progress. I then began teaching Music in the NYC Public School system in 1985 and I also was an Adjunct of Music at Touro College in Brooklyn NY from 2004-2018. My teaching experience is still in the early stages because of how busy I was during my school career at Seminole a State College with performing and schoolwork. During my three years at Seminole State, I performed with the guitar ensemble, the Jazz Band, a Jazz Vocal group, performed multiple recitals, played with a student led jazz quintet that gigged around the Sanford and Lake Mary area, and became the music theory tutor for the music program.
