Music is my greatest passion. I've been playing instrument for 20 years and teaching music for about 3 years now. I started out on guitar and drums, and I soon found out the importance of the piano. I have taught music in many situations. Most of my teaching experience is for a private school called excel music in Tampa and another called tampa music school. Since I have a variety of instruments and style I teach and since the needs of each student are different, I structure my materials and teaching methods for the individual. I particularly enjoy teaching beginners and young children. I've taught piano from many books including John Thompson books and Hal Leonard Series. Both my mother and grandmother were pianists and teachers. I played in a military drum and bugle corp, and continued playing through college where I received a degree in music theory and composition all the while being a part of the trumpet studio at the University of Florida.
