I started teaching in 2018, soon after moving to LA a few weeks after I graduated from Berklee College Of Music. I started out teaching at music schools, and would often have up to 30 students in a week. I would have weekly lessons with my students, prepare them for their annual recitals, and communicate with parents after their child's progress. More recently I have been teaching in-person lessons at my student's houses, as well as doing virtual lessons, which has been a incredibly rewarding experience. Read More

I am a classical guitar teacher who is looking to educate and inspire potential new students. I am classically trained and I have learned from some of the best musicians in the area (Dr. Zane Forshee of Peabody University and Matthew Dunlap of Peabody University). As of now, I have a business degree with an emphasis on entertainment and hospitality and have been playing guitar professionally for 15 years and bass guitar for 12 years. I began teaching guitar lessons at the early age of 17, and have continued to make private instruction a mainstay of my professional career ever since. Working with students across all ages and abilities, in my home studio or travelling to them, my passion for teaching has only grown over time. I find no greater delight than seeing the smile on the face of a new student who is getting those first few chords under their fingers, or helping an advanced student tackle a tricky riff or progression. Professional but fun. First we review the last couple of lessons, and then we do new- building upon what we have done earlier. Each student is unique, and I teach to them individually. I call it my Individual Music Program! I really get a kick out of seeing my students learn and progress along the musical staff, as the month go on., Often times I will get a brother and sister for lessons teaching them to play music together and become comfortable performing for family members and the public.
