Hey there, music lovers! My name is Jordan and I am a professional musician, singer, and songwriter in the Upstate area. I have been playing guitar for 15 years and have been writing songs for 12 years. With the release of 2 original albums and opportunities to play throughout the Southeast and abroad, music has been my lifelong passion and is an experience I love to share with others. Although I was introduced to guitar via the electric, I fell in love with the acoustic and the acoustic guitar has become my specialty. Read More

My teaching style is to keep things fun and stress free. I really like to listen to what the student wants to get out of the lessons. Some might be more interested in theory and technique while other's goals might be more interested in learning songs to get out and play. I also like to introduce students to new things that can help in advancing their skills and knowledge. Each student is an individual and advances at their own pace. Read More

At Berklee, I was mentored by some of the most amazing musicians in the world and I am delighted to get opportunities to mentor others like I was while in school. Read More

My teaching experience dates back to high school, when I helped others prepare for their vocal performances in our school competitions. Upon beginning my college career as a musical theatre major, I began to have many fellow students come to me for audition help and vocal training. I realized the value that one-on-one musical instruction can have not only for others, but for me as well. Even for those who have taken music lessons in a classroom setting, private lessons allow them to receive specialized guidance they may not be able to receive otherwise. Read More

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs. Read More

My musical background began when I was just a child, learning how to play the guitar. My father, also a musician, told it to me straight when he said "learn how to sing and play the bass and you will never be out of a gig!". I took this advice and tried my best. I also went to the best teachers, too. I studied music, practiced along with my favorite songs, and plucked out chords and melodies until I moved on to music theory, sight-reading, and composition throughout my school years, eventually attending a Jazz specific playing studio to further my musical education.
