I began teaching in college and quickly moved into a small lesson studio. During this time, I taught around 200 students as in my studio, we rotated. Since I moved to Los Angeles, I have been teaching for All Play music as well as at Musicians Institute. I have created a series of very well received lesson videos on social media that have garnered over 1,000,000 views. Every student is different, therefore, I tailor our lessons to fit their needs and desires. Read More

I always keep an open attitude and make my lessons energetic and exciting, while still being constructive. I love seeing my students' faces light up when they hear a cool lick, or when they nail a song they've been working on. That feeling makes the whole experience worth it for me, and I feel very lucky to teach music for a living. It's a pleasure to turn my students on to music and artists they've never heard before and seeing them grow into confident and mature players. Read More

I have an interactive yet focused style of teaching. I can(but don't recommend) to use the Suzuki method. I feel that all aspects related to the instruments weigh much importance in teaching the student. However, with the Suzuki method, the student's primary focus is to learn pieces rapidly and climb the level of difficulty as fast as possible. This prevents him/her to fully understand and analyze the piece and lesson and it can also turn the student away from pursuing the instrument further. Read More

I also serve as the youth choir director at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fountain Valley. I have also had previous experience playing in musical theatre, playing for shows like Hairspray and Dr. Read More

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs. Read More

I was eight years old when seemingly out of nowhere I told my mother and father that I wanted a piano. Their wise response was "well you will have to take some lesson's first!" Fortunately, the very first instructor they found me was a wonderful teacher named Gordon Adams who not only stressed the importance of theory but also taught me how to play with great passion. He would pick one piece for me to work on, which was usually classical, and then he would let me choose another piece of my own desire. Read More
