I encourage positive self-assessments and self talk, and strongly believe that progress is based on collaborative efforts of the student and teacher. This seems to progress at a very suitable speed, comfortable yet still challenging, and has proved to be quite effective in getting basics down. I graduated from Temple University in 1988, with a Master's of Music degree in the area of Percussion Performance, and Jazz emphasis.
