This seems to progress at a very suitable speed, comfortable yet still challenging, and has proved to be quite effective in getting basics down. Their perception is different than my perception and I can learn a lot about how to teach them based on how much they may already understand or do not understand. I'm a full-time middle school music teacher and also greatly enjoys teaching private music lessons. I performed as a soloist as well as in a variety of ensembles throughout my life including choirs, vocal ensembles, concert bands, wind ensembles, orchestras, jazz bands, and pit orchestras.
