I am a flute player of over 15 years with 8 years teaching experience who is passionate about providing quality lessons, especially to students who would not otherwise have access to them. I am a professional flautist and graduate of Berklee College of Music. Learning music entails much more than just playing a song. I am sure to incorporate theory, ear training, history, technique, and performance skills into the learning process. The goal is to teach the student to be a well-rounded musician and develop all of the skills needed to understand and fully enjoy the entire musical experience. Methods heavily depend on student. Everyone learns differently. I typically provide anything you may need, or can point you to libraries/databases. I heavily focus on tone and fundamentals, so applying it to the music comes seamlessly. For tone, I like both Phillip Bernold books, on embouchure and sound. Sonorite by Moyse as well. As part of that course, I gave one lesson each to two different students, on beginner, and the other advanced. Upon completion of this run in Vermont, Anthony relocated to Chicago, Illinois. He has since been highly active in the Musical Theatre scene; typically having a full schedule of performances in a variety of theaters, such as Music Theater Works, Metropolis, Porchlight and Drury Lane.
