I am an enthusiastic and talented music instructor who loves working with students and sharing my passion for music.  I graduated from the University of Mary Washington in the Fall of 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music.  I have a wide variety of musical talents, including theory, performance and composition.  My primary instrument is flute and I am comfortable teaching any age group and any skill level. I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music, where I completed my degrees in Music Education and Saxophone Performance. During my time at Berklee, I studied notable professors such as Bill Pierce, Shannon LeClaire, Dino Govoni and Jeff Harrington. Additionally, I also completed his Masters degree in Saxophone Performance at Queens College under the direction of Antonio Hart. I have been a private music teacher for 13 years and an elementary music teacher for 4 years. In that time I developed a skill set specifically designed to help students reach their goals. I also work in depth with students who have disabilities and specialize in adaptive music strategies. In may of 2025 I earned my master's degree in education from Oklahoma Christian University.
