I am a flute player of over 15 years with 8 years teaching experience who is passionate about providing quality lessons, especially to students who would not otherwise have access to them. I am a professional flautist and graduate of Berklee College of Music. Growing up, while I was blessed with a wonderful mentor on flute, I knew a lot of people who never had the chance to take lessons. Tommy has been teaching since 2017. He has taught in both one-on-one and group lessons for students of all ages. Tommy has taught flute, clarinet, saxophone, and theory lessons to both beginning students and at the collegiate level. Tommy also performs with many different ensembles across a wide variety of genres. Tommy is 3rd/Bass Clarinetist for the Peoria Symphony Orchestra, runs the Delicious Bass Bass Clarinet Choir, runs the Elite Four Jazz Band, and is a reoccurring performer with the Oswego Chamber Musicians. In the winter of 2009, I graduated from Roosevelt University with a Bachelor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance. When someone wants to learn how to play an instrument well enough to play in a band or orchestra, I usually consider two needs - playing music and interpreting written music. These are basic parts of education, literally easy to define by achieving pages in etude books.
