Depending on the instrument I’m teaching and the skill level of the student I’m usually going to start of with a 10 to 15 minute session of evaluation and assessment of needs acquired skills and students desires .we can then begin with exercising proper warm up posture and position .and run through warm up scales and learn rutiments or attack the desired skill requirements straight ahead depending on the students development.Music is an art and a discipline.it is a relationship one has with there instrument.my songs and instruments become like family ,well charrished!!!! In January 2004 I left Stockholm for Madrid, looking for new experiences as a Percussionist, Composer and Producer. In Spain I shared stage as well as studios with various artist such as Aute, Beatriz Luengo, Andy Lucas, Victoria Abril, David Bisbal, Paco Ortega, Habana Blues, David Bustamante, YADAM and Cruceta Flamenco among many others. I then moved to Miami, where I have been residing for the past 12 years. i like to do a lot of exercises at the beginning of the class at least 15 minutes the we start whit the songs in the singing classes , for the instruments i like to do some exercises an the work on the technical books the with songs that the student like to play and also some recommend, i love to given rewards like compliments or another song that they love to practice that give motivation for the student. i like to give them homework or something to study at home , because more practice faster learning.
