Lesson style is fresh, fun and includes an objective of what the student can expect to accomplish by the end of that lesson. I am enthusiastic and like students to come away from every lesson feeling like they have something to show! When lesson begins, we get right down to it. After older material is reviewed, we begin on the current lesson. Afterward, I ask my students to write down their assignment in their Assignment Log. Read More

Nothing is more important to me than seeing my students develop their passion for drums and music in general.I think its essentially to go at his/hers own pace. And encounrage each to reach their goal for that lesson. Acknowledging when the student is progressing, attentive and eager to keep on learning. I can successfully accommodate to each of the students wants and needs and vice versa their desire to learn the most of what I can teach them and the rest is learned along the way by practice, listening to music. As we continue towards that journey, I create new good exercises to attack problem areas that the student may have along the ride towards their goal. Read More

The first lesson is about basic technique and learning the drums and cymbals and then moving into being able to play a simple rock beat. I have done so many trial lessons at this point that I have it down to a science and I have a very good amount of kids who sign up afterwards. Read More
