I focus on the students strengths and dont force them to learn classical compositions. Although theory and site reading are very important, my students are here to learn how to fall in love with music and their instruments. I attended renowned music schools in Brazil to improve my skills in drumming, music theory and musicianship. I started giving private drums instructions when I was 20 years old, few years before I decided to come to California in 1989 to attend the Musicians Institute where I graduated with Honnors mention in the Certificate. Parallel from being an active performer in Los Angeles, California I got involved with the teaching aspect of drumming since 1997 which for me is an extremelly rewarding activity, where I can pass on everything I've learned trhough the years about music, drumming and enriching relationships.
