I talk to each student about their hopes and expectations regarding lesson structure and career plans as well as their personal struggles with and without the instrument. Critique is a necessary part of this field, but I try to state things as objectively as possible and use discretion as necessary. I graduated from Northwestern University this June with my Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and Saxophone Performance.
