This series come with the appropriate assigned age level. There are four books with each level. A technic, theory, performance, and Piano. Once my student has a working knowledge of the fundamentals, I introduce music that will build confidence and keep the student's interest. Although I am using a method book, it is just a guide. Lesson plans are developed based on the students abilities, progress, and expressed goals. I also give my younger students a practice log so they can track how much they practice. I like to treat it like a game. That way they look forward to practicing and can gain an appreciation for the trumpet. I also want the student to look forward to lessons with me.
