Also, I stress on fundamentals quite a lot. So, there will be heavy trainings focused on the fundamentals, such as long tone, scales, arpeggios, thirds, articulations. While reading the notes and rhythms is obviously important, understanding why those notes, rhythms or markings are in the music will help students develop and learn musicianship skills that are often overlooked.
