Each of these methods series have multiple books that the student can progress through. I have taught private students of all levels in both jazz and classical, as well as instructing collegiate jazz ensembles, collegiate saxophone quartets, high school jazz ensembles, and high school marching bands. I am a devoted music teacher and passionate performer, who likes to inspire my students to love making music. I perform with orchestras and chamber groups all over the Pennsylvania/Ohio area including the West Virginia Symphony orchestra. I emphasize regular practice on a consistent schedule and to have a positive attitude when learning to play the clarinet. My students are encouraged to enter competitions, recitals, and auditions. I have produced students that have won auditions for Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras, been first chair of the Maryland State Honors Band, and have placed in state and region-wide music competitions!
