I have been playing the cello for 13 years now and began giving lessons about five years ago. I have taught everyone from very young beginners, to adults picking up the instrument for the first time, to advanced students preparing to play in a college orchestra. I have prepared many students at all levels for the NYSSMA adjudication, resulting in high scores. I like to direct students to play scales and etudes with drones that can be found online or from an app. and can offer many more helpful practice techniques. I can teach classical bass, piano, and cello, as well as pop/rock bass, piano, cello, or vocal performance. Students repertoire includes traditional music books, skills book, etudes and songs. Suzuki Essential Elements are books of choice for music.
