I have taught in one-on-one lessons, large group rehearsals, and everywhere in between. I started my teaching with a group of peers and professors while studying my undergraduate Music Education degree. I like to balance musical enjoyment and technical training in my teaching method. I like to see the students making new musical and technical discoveries each week. I encourage them to set goals such as performing in quarterly student recitals and to consider taking part in a Syllabus program that has advancing yearly goals. My teaching dates back to my high school years. I started as the only freshmen in the high school string orchestra and even made it as the assistant principal. As a sophomore, I was the youngest principal the orchestra had seen. At that point, I was teaching not only the younger, elementary school students but also the middle school and even other high school students privately.
