My methods adapt to each student, their age and their level. The books I use go from the Suzuki books to the traditional Fouillard, Popper or Sebastian Lee methods. The repertoire would also depend on the student needs and the type of music he/she wants to learn. The age of the student is not relevant to me. I began to tech private lessons back in 2015 in Brazil, and continued here in the United States. Before that, however, I gained most of my teaching experience tutoring group guitar lessons. My students will have the proper development by learning music and their respect instrument from the basis. The importance of practicing on a regular basis will always be reminded and encourage, as part of their development process.
