I'm very passionate about teaching and love to work with all ages of students. I had a studio in Mountain Top, PA for 25 years until our family moved to Utah. I recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley. I've performed with many orchestras and have coached many students to be able to compete and perform at Carnegie Hall for many years. First of all, I always make my students enjoy music when they are learning anything from me. With beginners, I always be patient and kind, especially with young kids. Always singing songs with them, playing together with them and at the same time we will do some music games together. It helps young kids to get to know music and at the same time they won't get bored! There are little bit differences between Korea and the U.S.A about teaching idea. I have lots of advantages from it because I can combine each of them very well. I also encourage my students to take opportunities, for example, joining in Youth Orchestra, Ensemble, Competitions not only giving private lessons. I stopped playing for several years and even when I returned to cello, studying music in college made it feel like I was doing it for all the wrong reasons.
