I am a passionate and enthusiastic instructor who loves to teach everything music. I graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Management Minor. I have performed in various groups throughout my undergraduate degree, both in musicals and rock band groups. In the fall of 2020, I began my Master degree studies in Instrumental conducting at Houghton University, finishing in the spring of 2022. Depending on the natural strengths of the student, we may start with music fundamentals or jump right into violin setup and technique. I typically pair the books with exercises of my own invention meant to isolate the technique at hand for that lesson. Through the foundation I've gained by the influences of Mel Bay, Hal Leonard, and Suzuki musical instruction methods, I compile my own teaching materials. Using personally constructed guitar lessons, I demonstrate, instruct, and guide the student based on my assessment of their individual needs, skill level, and progress. Lessons are formulated in Modules, and advancement through them is based on the student's personal aptitude, skill level, and practice commitment.
