I provide individualized instruction with a theoretical focus. I want students to understand the music that they play. I view music as a language and believe in the importance of being able to manipulate it to convey a message to the listener. Of course some basics are neccesary but I like to make the basics sound as musical as possible. We will cover the fundamentals but we'll do so in such a way that it won't feel like so much work.
