Throughout high school and college, I worked at summer camps and tutoring programs, working with children and teenagers, doing everything from counseling to arts crafts, to hiking and music lessons. I've always enjoyed working with kids, watching their interests and passions grow. I've taught private guitar lessons for 1 year now, doing both virtual and in-person lessons. Recently, I've decided to devote more time to teaching. Guitar and music have meant so much to me and have given me such a powerful outlet. Read More

I am primarily an electric guitarist who has a fascination with composing/producing original music of a wide variety of styles. I was born into a musical family; I began taking classical lessons on piano at age six, and later upright bass at eight (guitar being a venture on my own accord that began somewhere in between). Though I consider guitar to be my main instrument, double bass allowed me to achieve considerable success in my high school years. Read More

I currently have my own home studio where I run Pro Tools. I perform in a rock band playing rhythm and lead guitar as well as some keyboard/ synthesizer work. We have played many benefit shows as well as paying gigs and we recently released an album that I engineered and produced. I love making music as well as learning and teaching. I love watching others as well as myself grow musically. Read More

Students are a case-by-case basis, and in that regard, each lesson is catered to the students actual goals and interests. I believe in training our ears and our sense of rhythm to a point where the student can figure things out and make artistic decisions on their own and use lessons, less as a tutorial, but as a source of inspiration to pursue the things that brought them here in the first place. Everything in lessons depends on where a student is the moment we start, and his or her passions and interests in various styles. I have heard so many times in the past that students will quit an instrument early in life because they were unmotivated in boring lessons, only to later regret the decision to quit. It is imperative to me that students become self-motivated to practice and enjoy it as much as possible. Read More
