I love music and I love teaching. I went to college to study Music and Theatre. After school, I toured the US and parts of the world for nine years in the vocal group Chapter 6. We were the youngest group ever to win the National Harmony Sweepstakes competition and the only group to ever win it and the International Championship of Collegiate A cappella. I use both classics and popular songs to teach reading, theory, ear-training, and improvisation. I teach all of my lessons differently- custom tailoring each one to the students (and parent's) wants, needs, and personal learning style.
