My passion for teaching has been a big part of my career. I have been teaching violin since 2011- providing individual and group instrumental lessons in music schools and serving as an adjunct faculty (Artist-in-Residence position) of performance studies (solo and chamber) at Boyer College of Music and Dance, Temple University. This can be achieved through lessons and regular practice. Those who practice regularly tend to be more successful and progress at a faster rate. We constantly set short and long term goals and re-evaluate what needs to be done to make those dreams a reality. I like to focus on things that the students enjoy and will help them grow as musicians. I also tend to focus a lot on proper posture and playing in a comfortable, natural way. I have always been a musician first and everything else second. I have found fulfillment in sharing music with others as a teacher, performer and music therapist. I graduated in May with my master's in voice from the Eastman School of Music. I hold bachelor's degrees and certifications in music education and music therapy.
