Setting goals is one of the first topics I discuss with my students, and then indicate some of the steps they need to take to achieve the goals that they set for themselves. I hold a PhD in Musicology (with a focus on the music of Japan) from Cornell University (2018), and regularly perform on both piano and trumpet here in NYC.
