The methods used in my trumpet studio focus solely on the fundamentals of playing trumpet. For all ages, there is a focus on building breath support, dexterity, and range. For the intermediate and advanced players, there is a focus on transpositions, sight-reading, dexterity, and learning standard trumpet repertoire. All of my lessons are tailored around the student and adhere to the New York State Standards for Music. Methods and other books I use include but are not limited to: Clarke, Gekker, Bai Lin, Schlossberg, Getchell, Concone, and the Amsden's 68 Duets. Read More

I find the most important aspect of being an educator is to find a way to keep motivation high and encourage individual expression. If I can find a way to connect with a student to get them excited and find their own creativity then I feel I have accomplished something that will stay with a student in all aspects of their life. It is a joy and a pleasure to share music and I am always looking to share music with new students of all ages! Read More

I've had a number of devoted teachers and being in New York there's always a chance to learn something new by simply saying hello to a musician. I look at teaching as sharing information enthusiastically and giving a student a chance to check in about issues they're dealing with relating to the instrument, music in general, and psychology of performance. I'm a student of the directions I was nudged towards by several key teachers. Read More

My teaching includes all aspects of music; Musical theory, sight singing, as well as Music History. My teaching style allows the child to have fun while they learn their instrument, but I emphasize a strong practice regiment. Your child will understand that while learning music and an instrument can be fun, there will be some work involved if they want to become great. I usually use either the Alfred or Rubank method books to supplement a curriculum that I tailor make for each individual student. Read More

I'm a professional musician who loves sharing with people my love of music. In 2018, I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor Degree honored Cum Laude in Music Performance. I played a lot in Europe and United States and I'd love to share my experiences with my student to let them grow as musicians. I had the pleasure to study with great musicians and mentors as Tiger Okoshi, Lin Biviano, Andrea Tofanelli, James Genus, John Lockwood, Neal Smith and many others; plus occasionally lessons with John Patitucci, John Clayton, Victor Wooten and masterclass with Ron Carter, Rufus Reed, Christian McBride and many others.
