Instruments: Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet

What is taught is dependant on what the student currently needs. Most beginners I work with are using the Essential Elements book that they use at school. For older students I will utilize what the student is working on in school as well as determining weak areas that need to be addressed, and the areas the student might want to focus on (classical technique, jazz theory and playing, etc.). Often I will write my own exercises for the students to work on areas I feel might need attention.  Read More

Everyone learns differently, so I do not use one form of teaching across the board for all my students. I use many different resources that I believe will lead to the best advancement in skill for the student based upon the student's abilities and learning style. Read More

This approach goes for how I interact with my students. We will start usually with me asking you what would you like to be able to do in X amount of time? This is important because without measurable goals, growth is not always guaranteed. Read More

It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
