Many parents start their children with music lessons to enrich their lives and give them a fun activity outside of school. Music is a great outlet for students of all ages because it challenges both the mind and the body. Many studies have been conducted that suggest music can facilitate improved test scores in math and science, and can also promote improved language development in young children. The biggest benefit of studying music is that it lays a foundation for a lifetime appreciation of many types of music!
Musika offers and annual performance opportunity for all students through our spring recitals in May/June. Recitals are a great chance for young students to perform for the first time, more experienced students to show their skills, and even for adults to show their love of music! Musika students perform most often on piano and guitar, but we also have many singers, violinists, and even drummers - every instrument and style is welcome.
Musika offers a convenient solution when you want to add music lessons to your busy schedule. Our teachers can come to your home, on the days you are available, and give you the same great lesson that you would have in a studio! This option allows you to stay in the comfort of your own home, and get a great music lesson at the same time. With in home lessons you are able to save time, and money that would usually be spent on travel expenses.
Musika offers every student a trial lesson to make sure you are comfortable with the teacher we provide. The trial is a chance to meet the teacher, experience their lesson style, and to start planning a custom lesson plan with the teacher. If you aren't satisfied after your trial lesson, it will be no charge and we can match you with another teacher - no questions asked.
To give you peace of mind before meeting a new music teacher, we hand select and screen all of our teachers, and conduct a thorough background check using Intellicorp, a leading screening and background check solutions provider.
