More Information About Music Lessons

Music helps develope a well rounded person. With the understanding of music that comes from taking lessons, students are able to enjoy and appreciate many types of music, as their understanding improves their appreciation of the art. Not to mention, students do not only excel in music while in lessons, but it has been proven that students who study music tend to score higher on english/language, math, and science tests.
Musika offers and annual performance opportunity for all students through our spring recitals in May/June. Recitals are a great chance for young students to perform for the first time, more experienced students to show their skills, and even for adults to show their love of music! Musika students perform most often on piano and guitar, but we also have many singers, violinists, and even drummers - every instrument and style is welcome.
Musika offers a convenient solution when you want to add music lessons to your busy schedule. Our teachers can come to your home, on the days you are available, and give you the same great lesson that you would have in a studio! This option allows you to stay in the comfort of your own home, and get a great music lesson at the same time. With in home lessons you are able to save time, and money that would usually be spent on travel expenses.
Your trial lesson will be a chance to meet the teacher, ensure student/teacher compatibility, and for the teacher to evaluate the students current level in order to create a custom lesson plan. We have a satisfaction gaurantee for all students - if for any reason you are not happy with the teacher after the introductory lesson it will be no charge and we can find a different instructor for you.
In order to safegaurd our students and provide a level of security to the in home lessons experience, Musika utilizes Intellicorp for its screening and background check procedures on all teachers, with a thorough background check being conducted on the national, state, and local county level.
