If there is a problem one my face in their individual practice, I am diligent in problem solving in our lesson. I work with my students to find small scale goals to work towards, and when they reach them, we find a new goal together. I have enjoyed teaching since High School, when I traveled to teach students by bus. Later I traveled by car to homes to teach, but have only taught in my studio for over 20 years. I find that the lessons are better where I have all of my wealth of music. I try to relate to each student personally, so they feel comfortable, and enjoy their lessons. My teaching experience dates back to high school during the year of 2017. I was a rising sophomore in high school and family friends first reached out to me for private lessons. From then, I was able to teach more students who were not necessarily friends of mine. I encourage daily practice for my students, which usually involves a repertoire, chromatic scales, and major and minor scales.
