My ultimate goal is to help students develop a love for playing and being around music. The last thing I want is a discouraged student or one that has become bored with music. Therefore, I will set realistic goals for my students so that they are not overwhelmed, but at the same time are constantly engaged and challenged by the material. My teaching experience dates back to high school during the year of 2017. I was a rising sophomore in high school and family friends first reached out to me for private lessons. From then, I was able to teach more students who were not necessarily friends of mine. I encourage daily practice for my students, which usually involves a repertoire, chromatic scales, and major and minor scales. I performed as a soloist as well as in a variety of ensembles throughout my life including choirs, vocal ensembles, concert bands, wind ensembles, orchestras, jazz bands, and pit orchestras.
