I believe in being being honest and encouraging, allowing students the chance to struggle and fail in a safe environment, while stressing and correcting proper techniques. I encourage practicing a little almost every day of the week, and finding what fires you up about the instrument. The same holds true for playing a scale or clapping a rhythm so you can execute it with ease as you perform. In short I try from my many years of both teaching and playing to give the student the tools to play whatever music they love. Read More
