I first talk with my students to figure out their goals.  Once a reasonable goal has been agreed upon, I enthusiastically help them jump right into playing their instrument.  By breaking up portions of the lesson with review of simpler pieces, I encourage my students to play fun and simpler things as well, so that they do not beocme frustrated.  I always bring my positive attitude to each lesson, and have the students write down what to work on after each lesson. Each lesson is structured with clear objectives while remaining responsive to the students mood, progress, and individual goals. I offer live demonstrations, real-time feedback, and even practice check-ins between sessions. For students who enjoy projects, we may collaborate on original compositions, studio-style recordings, or performance videos they can proudly share. I also provide personalized practice plans and digital resources after each session to guide students throughout the week. No matter where a student lives or what level theyre starting from, I strive to make them feel seen, heard, and fully supported. Read More

S. cities. To date, I have two albums to my credit, "Time Wounds All Heels" and "The 23rd Psalm", the latter containing the highly acclaimed title song that while being performed at the 1984 National Baptist Convention musical in Los Angeles, received a standing ovation by some 6,000 listeners. I portrayed characters like Maddalena in Verdis Rigoletto, Ciesca in Puccinis Gianni Schicchi, and Suor Infermiera in Puccinis Suor Angelica. The same year, I embraced the role of a 'Witch' in MSM's compelling production of "Dido and Aenas" by Henry Purcell. Looking ahead to the spring of 2024, I eagerly anticipate my role as the enchanting 'Fairy' in Jules Massenet's "Cendrillon," a prestigious MSM production. These diverse roles showcase my versatility and commitment to bringing stories to life through evocative performances. Read More
