I teach a breath based technique with a focus on relaxation. I want to help each individual find their true instrument. I like to use the 24 Italian Songs and Arias (Italian Art Songs) book as a basis for learning breath technique, legato, use of vowels and musicality, as well as being exposed to a foreign language. I believe that each student needs to set their own goals and therefore I like to go at the pace my students prefer. While I am happy to help set some basic goals and will assign work to do outside of our lessons, I believe that long term goals are our own.
