Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

All of my students can expect to participate in the hundred-day practice method, which requires practice each and everyday (even if it is just scales or review). Once they hit one hundred days, they will earn a reward within the studio. Each student will be given their own specific "Violin Diet Plan" where they will be required to practice scales, learn musical terminology, develop right and left hand technique, study etudes, and learn solo repertoire (sonatas, concertos, show pieces, etc.). I am extremely flexible as a teacher. For every skill, there are a multitude of ways to learn that skill. There is no need to slug away for months at a solo or exercise that doesnt match your personal interests or learning style. Peter P, a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He recently completed a Professional Performers Certificate from Lynn University where he studied with Marc Reese of the Empire Brass before relocating to Houston. He has performed at principal trumpet with the Detroit Symphony Civic Orchestra, the Philharmonia of Kansas City, the Chautauqua Festival Orchestra, and the Texas Festival Orchestra. Read More

I grew up as a "military brat" and then served in the Marine Corps. Moving to many different states and overseas countries has made me more well-rounded and appreciative of cultures. I developed a greater appreciation for music, proving it as a universal language among people holding diverse traditions.
