I am trained in the Suzuki Method, but I also feel comfortable teaching any preference and learning style. I particularly enjoy teaching younger musicians and have focused my work on beginner students, as young as preschool. I graduated from University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Music in violin performance. I continued to Peabody Conservatory of Music, University of Johns Hopkins in Baltimore for Master of Music and Graduate Performance Diploma in violin performance. As I have taught for many years, I feel encouraged and motivated when I can pass along my love for music. My beginners generally start with the "All For Strings," and "Strictly Strings" series to obtain the basic elements of violin playing. This curriculum provides students with virtually every phase of beginning through intermediate string study. I introduce solo repertoire that matches the musical interest of each student. I also guide my intermediate students through study of their current Middle School or High School orchestral repertoire.
