I am trained in the Suzuki Method, but I also feel comfortable teaching any preference and learning style. I particularly enjoy teaching younger musicians and have focused my work on beginner students, as young as preschool. However, because of my extensive performing experience, I have been able to see many of my students into universities where they have continued to play the violin at top levels. Read More

I completed my bachelor's degree with a major in violin performance at Indiana University Bloomington in December 2022. In my private music studio in Shanghai and Germany, I've taught both violin and viola, covering a wide range of repertoire and essential techniques. Furthermore, my leadership experience as the Principal Viola in orchestras such as The Four Seasons Chamber Music Orchestra of DC, Orchestra Academia China, Suzhou Symphony Orchestra, and others has deepened my understanding of orchestral dynamics, interpretation, and the importance of maintaining a high level of professionalism.
