I started playing violin in a Suzuki method program, which taught me the importance of training your ear. I honed in my classical skills, and thereon pursued the unconventional in violin genres my going to Berklee College of Music. It gave me possibility to expand my ear even more with free improvisation, jam band, jazz, rock, funk, blues, pop, Middle Eastern and Latin genres, on top of orchestral and quartet playing. I teach every student slightly differently depending on their needs and age and more. There is nothing more fun than playing music so I love to help build their passion for playing the violin/vla/cello. I like the lessons to be fun experiences. I find that playing with others can be very encouraging. So whenever they can have group classes or share two lessons back to back with both of them there the entire time I love to do that. My range provided me with the ability to read nearly any piece of music on sight, an ability I eventually took the oceans as a Pianist for Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. I performed with guest entertainers, in Jazz sets and in Production shows in over 24 countries.
