I am a passionate elementary school music educator who can "technically" play most instruments but trumpet was first in my heart when started playing it in 4th grade! I continued with it growing up and all the way through college where I graduated with a bachelor of science in music education K-12. I am currently in my 7th year of teaching elementary general music, chorus, beginner band. I am a passionate and dedicated musician who thrives on sharing my love of music with students and fellow performers. In 2023, I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Music in Performance, and I am currently pursuing my Master of Music in Classical Trumpet at the Manhattan School of Music. My journey in music took a couple of unexpected turns. As a youth, it was my intention to get a degree in trumpet performance, but life held a different path for me and I put the instruments away. Some years later, my wife- knowing how much I continued to enjoy music- suggested I take up trumpet again and I did, for which I'll be eternally grateful!
