Etude books, like Voxman's Selected Studies, and Rochut's Melodious Etudes are my go to for daily practice, but are not the only option available. Many students get down on themselves because they can't play something or they make a mistake. This is a deficit mindset that stunts growth long term. During my time at the university, I had the opportunity to broaden my perspective on the trombone by studying with several of the trombone faculty.
