In 2023, I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Music in Performance, and I am currently pursuing my Master of Music in Classical Trumpet at the Manhattan School of Music. The bulk of my experience comes from eleven years of performance, in which I have been exposed to the vast majority of flute literature, ranging from standard solo repertoire, to chamber music (flute ensemble/woodwind quintet/flute quartets), to orchestra masterpieces, and to broadway pit orchestras. From 2011 to 2014, I was a Juilliard Pre-College mentor. It was my job to offer support and advice to students in orchestra and brass quintet rehearsals. At Yale, I became a Teaching Artist in 2015 and gave private lessons to Yale Undergraduate students. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with my own method based on fundamental approach to trumpet playing, such as Arban, Maggio, Collin and Clark methods. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance.
