Currently, I teach students from schools involved in TMEA and ATSSB. My students have had success in All Region auditions, Area auditions, and solo and ensemble. Music is fun, but with hard work the lessons will pay off with the reward of improved music ability. I always try to ask the student what the scene of a movie would be if they are playing the soundtrack, and get them to convey that when they play.
