The practice routine is a set of 3-5 exercises taken from my library music books that will each touch on an area or skill that the student needs to work on. My young beginners usually start with an elementary method book plus exercises and songs customized for each student. I am familiar with and have taught from all of the books that are currently available. My favorites are Standard of Excellence, Essential Elements, Ed Sueta's Band Method, and Rubank's Method.
