Sharing music with my students is my greatest passion. I have been playing music since I was nine years old. Music has provided me with many valuable lessons and opportunities of which I instill on my students. I am a Trombonist, Guitarist, Composer and Arranger with a BFA in Jazz Performance from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. Some of my experiences as a professional musician include touring Europe with the JMI World Orchestra in 2017, performing at Carnegie Hall, The Apollo Theater, Dizzy's Club Coca Cola and many other venues through New York City, as well as many years of teaching, both privately and in groups. I began teaching in 2012 as a senior in high school working at a community music school's summer arts camp in New York. I worked there for five summers as an assistant instructor. I taught beginner and intermediate French horn and trumpet lessons while working there. Many of my students, both at the camp and in my private studio have gone on to make District Bands and Honor Ensembles. I was the brass instructor at a sleep away arts camp in the summer of 2016 where I taught brass ensemble, wind ensemble, jazz band and a chamber ensemble class. Read More

I am a third-year undergrad at NYU, studying Music Education with a concentration in instrumental performanceand I love it! Teaching has been a part of my 'plan' since I was in middle school. I have been teaching privately since High School and have maintained a studio in each of the different cities I have lived in. I spent three years teaching beginning band for NYC Public Schools. Through these experiences, and my own practice, I have found that fundamentals and planned practice are top priority. I am a Bass Trombonist and Tuba player from South Orange, NJ. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BM in Music Performance in 2016, and then from the Aaron Copland School of Music with an MM in Performance. I love performing music as evidenced by performances with the New Jersey Youth Symphony at the Musikverin in Austria, and with the UMass Symphony Band and Wind Ensembles at the College Band Directors National Association conference.
