My teaching expereince dates back to before I graduated undergraduate school. Since I had a semester to wait for Commencement, I was afforded an opportunity to work as a Teacher assistant, in an Open Classroom Learning Environment. This immediately preceded a very rewarding Student Teaching experience in the rural southern state of North Carolina. For beginner students, I typically start with Rubank Elemetary Method for Flute. However, if you have a different method book, I am happy to teach using that book, if I find it to be a credible source. For intermediate to advanced students, I prefer to use the Rubank Advanced Method Books 1 and 2, but again, if you have your own books, if I approve, we can use those books instead.
