I'm a dedicated and hard-working teacher that works to provide a consistently growing love and appreciation for music in her students. In 2016, I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Clarinet Performance at Morehead State University, and in April 2018 I graduated with my Master of Music degree at the Cincinnati-Conservatory of Music. I have performed in various professional and semi-professional musical settings including: 2 years in the Cave Run Symphony Orchestra, playing out of clarinet/flute/saxophone books for multiple musicals, and most recently traveling around the Midwest states playing clarinet for the Guerrilla Chamber Collective (a chamber group dedicated to performing new music by up-and-coming composers). I began teaching private lessons when starting college, and have maintained a studio of various woodwind students of various ages since 2011. In the time between then, I have been involved as a private instructor, small chamber coach, full band director, and covered any other position possible for many schools; I have ample experience in teaching and performing many styles common in the school system. I have been playing the saxophone for 12 years and began teaching around 5 years ago at Beavercreek Schools. Due to completing my education, I had to temporarily cease private teaching and have recently begun again with the pandemic becoming more under control. I have now been able to return to Beavercreek and Miamisburg Schools in addition to my new role teaching at Stivers School for the Arts as an adjunct instructor. Read More
